Centennial vote 2020

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.

Amendment XIX, August 26, 1920

“The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women's constitutional right to vote. This historic centennial offers an unparalleled opportunity” for the Cal Poly Women’s Club to commemorate a milestone of democracy and support the issues of equal voting rights today. To do this, the Cal Poly Women’s Club has partnered with the SLO County Recorders Office to “Adopt-a-Poll” on campus for the March 3, 2020 primary and the November 3, 2020 general election.

The campus polling place will include many volunteers from CPWC and friends--we need you!
